Sustainable landscapes

This morning I've posted an ad on the website for talented young conservationists, environmental lawyers, registered landscape architects, interior designers, CAD technicians, trainers, sustainable product designers, sustainable design and build contractors, developers, project managers and urban planners to join our practice.

I don't mean to offend anyone who's as old, or older, than me by mentioning that we're looking for young talent. Older talent with young-at-heart passion is good too.

I firmly believe that sustainable communities can only come about when we have sustainable homes set in well designed landscapes, where people have oppportunites to sit and chat to neighbours, where children can play safely, unsupervised, where we can grow our own food, and walk or take public transport to where we need to go.

Climate change and issues around peak oil require us to change our ways. We need to pause and reflect. How we design sustainable landscapes and sustainable communities are questions shaping the development of Greenstone Design UK.

If you feel as passionately as we do, get in touch.
